Grapvine Tx. Wine Fest.
Making wine on the premises is another great quality of this winery. The wine has many important processes to go through before it is bottled and corked. Debbie chose to use large stainless steel tanks to stir up her wine.
The tanks are always carefully sterilized before using. Once all the proper supplies are clean and ready we are able to begin making the batch of wine. First, we add the juices from the grapes and/or berries with a couple other elements. Secondly, we transfer the wine from one tank to another, two separate times. Thirdly, we degass the wine. These steps are time consuming so they are done percisely to allow any yeasting and other affects to take place.
Debbie testing her blueberry wine before bottling.
Once the wine's clarity is at it's peak, we can then begin bottling. Once bottled and corked, the shrinkwrap is applied. Then the labels are put on and the wine is stored in the winery's own cellar.
